Job Title: Director of Sales & Marketing
Department: Executive Office
Reports to: General Manager
Position Level: Division Head
Location: Sihanoukville Cambodia
Responsibilities:
- Create Sales and Marketing budget strategic sales plan monthly reports annual goals forecasts and others as required.
- Responsible for driving the right business at the right price to ensure the property achieves budgeted occupancy rate and revenue.
- Analyze and Identify market trends and develop sales strategies to stay competitive
- Position the company as the countrys top island destination with thoughtfully crafted strategy.
- Cultivate and develop relationships with key industry players potential clients and partners.
- Responsible for data analysis to track and report on sales and marketing performance.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to represent the resort and network with potential clients partners.
- Utilize digital marketing social media SEO SEM and content creation to promote the resort.
- Liaise with reservations sales representative and PR to create sales strategies.
- Coordinate with key travel agents and ideate source market plan to achieve business.
- Plan and execute regional and international sales call training sessions plan and host FAM
- Trips international tradeshows roadshows and industry events.
- Ensure that interaction and communications between departments within the property are clear and effectively maintained to support the smooth running of the property.
- Revise and control departments budget.
- Suggest ideas to develop major international consortia relationships.
- Work closely with Head Office Commercial team.
- Perform any additional duties given by Management.
Skills and Experience:
- Qualified to execute the position of Director of Sales with proven results in similar roles within luxury hotels.
- Hold a Bachelors degree in Hospitality Marketing Hotel or Business Management.
- Possess over 5 years of experience in a senior sales role in the luxury hospitality sector.
- Strong technical skills including:
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office: Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
- Familiarity with various hotel systems including PMS and CRM platforms
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Basic knowledge of the local language and customs
Salary:
$5000 - $6000
