You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe International Scholars Coordinator position involves assessment and student and faculty success efforts focused on campus programming immigration compliance documentation reporting and collaborating with campus partners particularly related to employment immigration.
The Center for Global Engagement advances Boise State Universitys global recognition as a metropolitan research university and provides leadership and coordination for campus-wide internationalization efforts and initiatives.
Fully competent and productive professional contributor who applies acquired job skills policies and procedures to complete substantive assignments/projects/tasks of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with general supervision; exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action. May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees.
As a primary duty of this position the employee will serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) for the purposes of maintaining the SEVIS database and associated record-keeping required by the Department of Homeland Security. In accordance with federal regulations governing access to the SEVIS system the person holding this position must be either a US citizen or lawful permanent resident (8 CFR 214.3(I)(1)(ii).

Bachelors Degree and 2 years of professional experience or equivalent relevant experience.
