- Operate Hydro Excavation Equipment: Use high-pressure water and vacuum systems to safely expose underground utilities and pipelines.
- Ensure Job Site Preparation & Safety: Set up job sites according to company and client safety standards including proper equipment positioning and PPE usage.
- Maintain Equipment: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections conduct routine maintenance and report any malfunctions to the maintenance team.
- Comply with Safety Regulations: Follow all safety protocols conduct site hazard assessments and attend regular safety meetings.
- Handle Materials Responsibly: Assist in the proper collection handling and disposal of waste materials while ensuring environmental compliance.
- Work as a Team Player: Collaborate with project managers and crew members to complete jobs efficiently and safely.
- Class B CDL License with Tanker Endorsement (must operate manual transmission)
- Proven experience in hydro excavation
- Physical Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in various environments
- Strong Commitment to Safety and compliance with regulations
- Ability to Pass criminal and MVR backgrounds as well as drug screen
- MUST BE WILLING TO WORK OVERTIME NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS. ALSO WILLING TO TRAVEL/WORK OUT OF TOWN.
- The position involves lifting (up to 50 - 75 pounds) pushing pulling and bending (Note: The level of physical effort may vary from site to site and in some cases be greater or lesser than documented here.)
- Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts burns exposure to toxic chemicals etc) rarely;
- Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt odors noise weather extremes or similar elements most of the work day;
- Normal setting for this job is: outdoors and/or driving a vehicle.
