We are searching for an experienced Medical Assistant or CNA for the Wound Care Center.Current certification as CNA or Medical Assistant.

Location: St. Lukes Hospital - New Bedford MA
Hours: 24 flex 32hrs
Shift: DAY 7:45am - 4:15pm
Looking for:
- Must have successful completion of a Medical Assistant program or Nursing Assistant/Aide program.
- BLS certification is required.
- Equal to completion of four years of high school or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience with an electronic medical record and/or health related computer software is preferred.
- Customer service experience or training preferred.
- A minimum of one (1) year work experience in healthcare setting or related medical office or clinic practice is preferred.
- Fluency in a language other than English is preferred.
- National third- party certification is required for medical assistants within 13 months of hire.
- Current certification in one of the following: Nursing Assistant/Aide or Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities
Position repots to Manager Wound Care Center or designee. Perform a variety of clinic duties related to providing assistance to nursing staff in carrying out wound care treatments and medical office tasks related to ongoing department functions.
Qualifications
- Equal to completion of four years of high school or equivalent is required.
- Must have successful completion of a Medical Assistant program or Nursing Assistant/Aide program.
- BLS certification is required.
