Job Description

Summary

As a Senior Internal Audit Manager you will be a critical member of the Internal Audit & ERM leadership team driving the future strategy of the department through innovation and process excellence while fostering a culture of agility in auditing. Your role involves collaborating with stakeholders from Global Services encompassing areas such as Finance Procurement HR Legal Technology and Data Science to develop and implement a risk-based audit plan aligned with company strategies and emerging risks. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire audit process related to Global Services from the planning stage through to reporting. This role is crucial in protecting assets ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting and promoting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of the risk-based audit plan for the Global Services division aligned to company strategies initiatives and other emerging risks.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with stakeholders from Global Services.
  • Manage audit execution from planning to reporting. Evaluate internal controls and processes document risks and suggest improvements. Present audit findings to management and work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
  • Successfully oversee multiple projects including co-sourced projects simultaneously ensuring all assigned tasks are completed within the designated timeline.
  • Apply expertise in policy procedures internal control concepts and best practices to evaluate the effectiveness of governance and compliance by process owners.
  • Stay up to date on internal audit practices regulatory requirements and risk frameworks to understand their impact on our audit work and Enterprise Risk Management.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in AI data analytics and technology risk.
  • Support talent and career development and guide employees in professional growth through a focus on communication and accountability as well as technical and project management skills.
  • Work in conjunction with external auditors to support the external audit process including conducting process walkthroughs performing control testing and compiling reports to optimize external testing requirements.
  • Participate and support internal investigations understanding key principles of investigative assignments while ensuring anonymity and need-to-know requirements.

Typical Education

Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting Information Systems Finance or a related field

Relevant Experience

  • 10 years of relevant experience including previous leadership roles.
  • Exceptional interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven analytical problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI or other data visualization tools for reporting and analysis preferred.

Required Certifications

Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certificate.
