As a Manufacturing Engineer with Fluke Electronics you will be tasked with analyzing developing implementing and maintaining methods manufacturing operation sequences specifications and equipment requirements for production/assembly of new and existing products. You will assist new product introduction to manufacturing support released product and assist with the retirement of legacy products. You will be a major contributor to and owner of key performance indicators in Operations including: 5S/Safety Quality Delivery Inventory and Productivity. Primary Responsibilities:
Perform manufacturing engineering assignments associated with the integrity of product design to assure quality and cost-effective production
Advise engineering of existing production capabilities equipment facilities and standard practices to contribute to the development of designs
Coordinate with support groups to ensure capabilities and capacities are developed to support new products
Ensure efficient manufacturing through achieving quality cost operating specifications customer and company standards and requirements
Apply Lean manufacturing principles to improve production processes and achieve cost reduction
Plan define and implement new manufacturing systems as needed for new product introductions
Responsible for managing and implementing projects of varying complexity and scope
Ensure integrity of existing manufacturing documents and take ownership of creating new manufacturing documentation
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Technology Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university preferred
8 years of related experience
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (5S SW PSP SMED VRK OEE TPM etc.) a plus
Proven problem solving aptitude using various tools and techniques
Leadership experience within a team project or job
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing work and delivering results
Comfortable working problems of moderate scope where data analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors
SolidWorks and/or Creo experience a plus
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings required
Experience working in a metric/goal-driven environment
Hands-on approach/experience with manufacturing processes preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; effectively able to present information and respond to feedback at any level within the global organization

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 85100.00 - 160900.00
Full-Time
