Supports the Manager in all aspects of the business operations. Must have good organizational and creative skills be customer focused with a positive friendly manner. Must be able to work independently as needed be professional self-motivated honest and reliable.
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service: Greet customers answer telephone inquiries in a pleasant professional manner.
2. Ability to work as a team show a willingness to be flexible with the schedule show positive support for fellow employees and provide support for the manager as needed.
3. Participates in periodic inventory of merchandise & stock.
4. Assists in the receiving of new merchandise will verify packing lists & properly handle merchandise.
5. Assists in the training of volunteers and new dept. staff
6. Tends to register performs closing procedures prepares daily cash reports.
7. Oversees all shop operations in absence of the manager.
8. Performs general shop upkeep assists the keep displays neat and organized & visually creative.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
10. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
Required: HSD or equivalent Customer service skills Operate a cash register basic math skills and light shop duties.
