Job Description
Your Tasks
- Development and maintenance of scalable backend services using NestJS and TypeScript
- Design and optimization of performant MongoDB schemas including indexing strategies for large-scale datasets
- Implementation of robust REST and GraphQL APIs background workers and job queues with BullMQ
- Ownership of the complete software lifecycle: development testing monitoring and continuous improvement
- Creation of meaningful unit integration and end-to-end tests with a focus on validation and reliability
- Consideration of architectural implications edge cases and cross-system integrations in all implementations
- Collaboration with engineering and product teams through proactive communication of progress blockers and trade-offs
- Contribution to architectural enhancements and system scalability
- Knowledge sharing and mentorship through code reviews and guidance
Your Profile
- Strong backend engineering expertise with a focus on TypeScript and NestJS
- Practical experience in MongoDB schema design and data scalability
- Demonstrated ownership mindset with a focus on clean maintainable solutions and critical thinking
- Emphasis on testing practices technical documentation and team-wide communication
- Familiarity with modern infrastructure including CI/CD pipelines Kubernetes Grafana and Prometheus
- Solid understanding of API design principles and experience with event-driven systems (e.g. Google Pub/Sub)
