Role: Youth Worker (Interim Care)
Employment Type: Permanent Part Time & Casual
Location/s: Blair Athol Colyton Cranebrook & Glenmore Park.
As a youth worker within our interim care service you will provide direct support and mentorship to children and young people (generally aged 9-14 years). The children and young people we care have likely faced childhood trauma abuse or neglect and our homes are often their first experience in a residential care setting.
Your role will be to ensure a safe homelike environment that supports children and young people to thrive learning key life skills including independent living skills problem solving and building appropriate and positive relationships with others.
Our interim care services operate 24/7 therefore it is essential that successful applicants are able and willing to work a roster which regularly includes afternoon sleepover and weekend shifts.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check NSW Working with Children Check and NSW Residential Care Workers Register check.
