The importance of this role:
We are seeking a dedicated Production Manager to join our team at the Geebung site. This role combines administrative duties with active involvement on the production floor focusing on assembly operations. You will liaise with commercial customers coordinate daily work schedules oversee production workers and ensure quality control standards are met. Our site primarily handles assembly and relabelling tasks. We value a positive attitude and willingness to learn over prior experience!
- Full-time position based in Geebung 7:35am-3:35pm
Monday-Friday - $77000 per annum super salary packaging benefits
In the day-to-day duties of this role you will:
- Coordinate the receipting of all product movement for the service to ensure stock flow within your area.
- Create and provide accurate quotes to customers to ensure competitiveness.
- Ensure the service meets all quoted deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Design all staff day to day movements to ensure your team completes their daily production needs.
- Assist in the Coordination of quality control processes applicable to your area to ensure compliance
- Negotiate with customers and suppliers as necessary to maintain product loads and customer satisfaction.
- Assist the EFI Manager in managing the service assets in accordance with Endeavours policies and procedures to ensure the asset register is up to date and accurate
- Comply with Endeavours Work Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure safety in and out of the workplace is upheld
- Be vigilant for situations that may cause a safety risk and take steps to minimise the risk by identifying and reporting potential hazards in the workplace to the Supervisor / Manager.
What you can bring to the team:
- Demonstrated experience in developing implementing and evaluating production systems to ensure maximum production potential is fully utilised.
- Demonstrated experience in scheduling production to meet deadlines to ensure customers needs are met.
- Experience in leading a team of people to achieve set outcomes and desired behaviours.
- Experience in co-ordinating all aspects of the maintenance and use of plant and equipment to ensure required production capacity can be achieved.
- Experience working within a Quality Assurance Framework.
- Working knowledge of relevant Workplace Health and Safety legislation to ensure compliance
- Competency in the use of Microsoft Office and production related software packages.
