Currently we are looking to appoint the key role of Senior Medical Administrator/Office Manager
This role will have a strongday-to-dayoperational focus supporting the Practice Principals and will have responsibility for the implementation ofand oversight of staff management systems and processes as well as ensuring that the business practices are efficient and progressive. Managing a dedicated small team of 5 staff across administration nursing and business support this role will have key areas of responsibility that include:
Business Planning:
Develop and implement strategies for achievement of practice goals
Risk Assessment and Management:
Develop and maintain the practices emergency response plan
Human Resources:
Be accountable to principals/directors for performance of all staff including but not limited to receptionists health assistants registered/enrolled nurses students registrars or contractors.
Quality Improvement Leadership:
Maintain a quality improvement plan that is regularly reviewed and feedback presented to the practice team.
Finances:
Work closely with Part Time Finance Manager to support financial management tasks including preparation of financial report budgeting revenue generation and cost control
General:
Responsible for organising regular management clinical and staff meetings
Ideally suiting a senior medical administrator/receptionist/secretary on a pathway towards Practice Management applicants offering current experience in leadership roles within General Practice who are looking to work in small independently owned and operated setting are equally encouraged. Offered as a permanent full-time onsite role the position will ideally be structured across a Monday to Friday roster and resourced with strong internal support staff (finance/payroll/accounts) and outsourced advisory support.
