Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician
Location: Wasco CA
Pay Rate:$25.00/hr
Key Staffing is actively hiring a Maintenance Technician for a well-established food production facility in the local area. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical electrical and pneumatic systems
- Repair motors conveyors gearboxes and production lines
- Respond to maintenance requests quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and complete required documentation
- Ensure equipment complies with safety and quality standards
- Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve equipment issues
- Assist with installations upgrades and modifications of production systems
Requirements:
- 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with PLCs hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints schematics and technical manuals
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various indoor/outdoor environments
- Reliable detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team
- Must have steel-toe boots and pass pre-employment screening
