Job Description

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Structural Mechanic I
LOCATION: Savannah GA

PAY RATE: $21.21/hour

We are a national staffing firm partnering with top-tier aerospace companies and we are seeking first-class employees to join our clients teams!

Qualifying Questions:

Job Details:

  • Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:

  • Performs structural assembly operations in a production environment ensuring compliance with FAA regulations customer specifications and company quality standards.

  • The role requires attention to detail adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work with various tools materials and processes.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 1 year of structural assembly experience or equivalent credit from an aircraft structures technical certificate program.

  • Basic knowledge of aircraft structures sheet metal and fabrication processes.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints scales and basic documents.

  • Experience with tools for riveting drilling and structural assembly.

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and resource planning systems.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs climb ladders/stairs and work in confined spaces or any shift.

  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).

  • MUST BE US PERSONS

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Solumina and Smarteam systems.

  • Familiarity with composite resins and materials.

  • Knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement processes (e.g. Kaizen 5S).

  • Professional attitude attention to detail and ability to meet demanding schedules.
