Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Market Branch Manager in our La Porte TX location. This location sells Industrial pipe valves and fittings. Join us and lead our branch to new heights with your proven leadership and sales skills!

Role Overview

As the Market Branch Manager youll be responsible for leading a team to become the Best Local Supply House by aligning sales strategy with customer experience and fostering strong local relationships. You will ensure sales goals are met drive customer satisfaction develop associates and maintain a safe efficient work environment. Through effective leadership you will cultivate a positive culture and steer the branch toward growth and market leadership.

Position Details

  • Reports to Dean Rittimann
  • Direct oversight of 60 to 70 associates
  • This position leads operations of a high-volume market branch which services the greater Houston area as well as services the satellite branches.
  • Total market revenue typically exceeds $100M annually.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operations of a high-volume market branch
  • Coach and develop team within Branch and become the mayor of the market
  • Focus on growing sales and customer relationships developing their associates delivering excellent service and taking pride in running a clean safe facility.
  • Deliver and collaborate to reach sales goals in line with budget expectations
  • Drive P&L performance through effective execution of sales strategies operational efficiencies and market development plans
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers vendors and associates to support growth and retention
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations driving accountability and promoting team engagement
  • Identify skill gaps and provide training mentorship and development opportunities to build a promotable talent pipeline
  • Ensure prompt and informed decision-making to meet customer needs and resolve operational challenges

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of sales management and industry experience preferred
  • Shown success in leading large teams across complex branch operations
  • Demonstrated experience in P&L management and sales leadership within a dynamic customer-focused environment
  • Strong financial competence and the ability to analyze and act on performance metrics
  • History of building engaged high-performing teams through consistent coaching and development
  • Ability to assess and close skill gaps through structured training and performance planning
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a focus on collaboration and accountability
  • Must align with the local market demonstrating a deep understanding of customer and team dynamics

Pay Range:

$9875.00 - $15800.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
