Join our dynamic AI-forward team as an Image Editor where you will produce and enhance product images for e-commerce sites including Backcountry Competitive Cyclist and Steep and Cheap using both traditional and advanced AI-driven editing tools to deliver high-quality on-brand visuals in a fast-paced technology-driven environment. This role is challenging above and beyond the day-to-day responsibilities youll have a big role within a fast-paced team.
This position will report into the Image Editor Manager.

Complete tasks in the vendor image workflow utilizing AI-powered tools for batch editing background removal and image enhancement to increase efficiency and consistency.
Complete tasks in the studio editing workflow integrating AI solutions to streamline repetitive processes and improve turnaround times.
Produce imagery that meets strict production standards using both manual and AI-assisted editing techniques to ensure quality and brand alignment.
Maintain throughput and quality metrics that support company/department needs leveraging AI analytics to monitor and optimize performance.
Promote teamwork professional development and company culture encouraging the adoption of new AI technologies and fostering a culture of innovation.
Stay current with emerging AI trends and tools in digital imaging proactively recommending and piloting new solutions to keep the team at the forefront of industry advancements.
Supply video and alternate media exploring AI-driven video editing and generation tools to expand content capabilities.
Support the content data team in upholding asset integrity and visual consistency by leveraging AI tools to efficiently identify and address image alignment or presentation issues.
Source and organize marketing and email imagery from vendor partners leveraging AI tools for efficient tagging categorization and search optimization.
What you bring to the role:
1 years experience editing commercial images with demonstrated use of AI-powered editing tools (e.g. automated background removal batch processing AI upscaling).
B.S. Degree in Art Graphic Design Digital Photography or similar.
Thorough understanding of image editing Photoshop and leading AI image editing platforms (e.g. Pixlr Spyne Pixelcut).
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain strict deadlines leveraging AI to manage high-volume workflows efficiently.
Strong command of English with the ability to clearly understand and convey both verbal and written information.
Demonstrated AI-forward thinking with a track record of adopting and championing new technologies in image editing.
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development related to AI and digital imaging trends.
