We are seeking a proactive and culturally attuned Community Moderator to oversee and nurture the Swiss community. This role is pivotal in fostering a vibrant respectful and engaging environment across digital platforms ensuring alignment with our brand values and community guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Swiss culture fluency in local languages and a passion for building online communities.
Tasks
- Monitor and actively participate in discussions across our Swiss digital platforms including forums social media channels and messaging apps to foster a positive community atmosphere.
- Review user-generated content to ensure compliance with community guidelines addressing any issues such as inappropriate language misinformation or off-topic posts.
- Respond to community inquiries feedback and reports in a timely and professional manner escalating issues to relevant teams when necessary.
- Ensure all community interactions and content are culturally appropriate and resonate with the Swiss audience taking into account regional nuances and languages.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to organize virtual and in-person events aimed at increasing community engagement and brand loyalty.
- Track community metrics to assess engagement levels identify trends and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Communications Marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in community management or moderation preferably within the Swiss market.
- Fluency in German or French is a must; proficiency in Italian is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Swiss culture and regional differences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with community management tools and social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
