Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily front desk operations to ensure efficient customer service.
  • Manage staff scheduling and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate with medical and administrative staff for streamlined patient flow.
  • Handle patient inquiries and complaints with professionalism.
  • Implement policies and procedures for efficient front desk functioning.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Ensure accurate appointment scheduling and billing processes.
  • Train and mentor front desk staff on best practices.
  • Monitor inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed.
  • Develop and implement training programs for new hires.
  • Assist with budgeting and financial reporting for the front desk department.
  • Facilitate effective communication between departments.
  • Conduct regular meetings to discuss staff performance and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk environment.
  • Adapt to changes in healthcare regulations and technology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration Business or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a front desk or administrative role preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations and patient care processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing a team.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using healthcare management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively.
  • Knowledge of patient confidentiality regulations and compliance.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to service excellence.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Capable of training and developing staff.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative work environment.
