Role: Oracle ETL Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ETL Specialist with expertise in Oracle ADW Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and general ETL processes to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for designing developing and optimizing ETL processes to support the data warehouse infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data integration and transformation techniques along with strong knowledge of Oracle technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- ETL Development: Design develop and implement ETL workflows and processes using ODI to load and transform data for Oracle Data Warehouse (ADW).
- Oracle Data Warehouse Management: Manage and optimize Oracle ADW architecture ensuring efficient data storage retrieval and transformation.
- Data Integration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources ensuring data quality consistency and reliability across systems.
- Performance Tuning: Identify bottlenecks in ETL processes and implement solutions for optimizing performance including query optimization and resource utilization.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support for ETL-related issues ensuring timely resolution of data integration problems and data discrepancies.
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor data quality standards ensuring accuracy and integrity of data in the data warehouse.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for all ETL processes data mappings and data models.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the BI database and development teams to understand data requirements and contribute to the overall data architecture strategy.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends technologies and best practices in ETL processes and data warehousing.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Oracle Data Warehouse Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and ETL processes.
- Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture data modeling and performance tuning.
- Experience in data migration and integration from various source systems into a data warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL including writing complex queries for ETL processes.
- Familiarity with Oracle tools and technologies such as Oracle GoldenGate Oracle SQL Developer and Oracle Exadata.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts data modeling techniques and OLAP/OLTP systems.
- Experience with ETL automation job scheduling and monitoring.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and stakeholder interactions.
- Bachelor s degree in computer science Information Systems or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in Oracle technologies (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional).
- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing platforms (e.g. Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse AWS Redshift Google Big Query).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
