Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging English curriculum tailored for students.
- Conduct lessons to improve students reading writing and speaking skills.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback on assignments.
- Encourage critical thinking and creativity in students through literature discussions.
- Prepare lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and adapt as necessary.
- Develop assessments homework assignments and classroom materials.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and needs.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate cross-curricular objectives.
- Stay current with educational trends in English language teaching.
- Encourage and facilitate a love for reading among students.
- Monitor student homework and projects providing timely support.
- Use technology and educational tools to enhance learning experiences.
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere for all students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in English Education or a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching English to middle or high school students.
- Strong grasp of English grammar literature and composition.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Familiarity with various teaching methodologies and assessment strategies.
- Ability to motivate and engage students of diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in lesson delivery.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
- Experience with educational technology in the classroom.
- Solid interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students and parents.
