Job Description
This is a remote position.
LT Selection is proud to be recruiting exclusively on behalf of our client. We believe that everyone we connect with an employer positively impacts the further education skills and employment sector.
We are now supporting the appointment of a number of Freelance NVQ Assessors to deliver high-quality assessments for Level 2 and 3 Insulation NVQs across the UK. These roles are fully freelance and offer flexibility to manage your own caseload and working hours.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
A1 D32/33 or TAQA-qualified
A relevant trade qualification at Level 2 or Level 3
Experience assessing trade-based NVQs
Experience in any of the following is highly desirable:
Cavity Wall
Cold Roof
Solid Floor
Damp Proofing
External Wall
Internal Wall
Room in Roof
Delivery Format:
A blend of face-to-face and remote observations (via Teams) with at least one site visit required per learner
Assessment portfolios will include:
1 or 2 site observations (depending on level)
Professional discussions
Knowledge workbook
Portfolio of pictures/videos
Witness testimonies
Remuneration:
Paid per portfolio on completion
Level 2: 350 400 per learner (plus early completion bonus being trialled)
Level 3: 500 650 per learner (plus early completion bonus being trialled)
Assessors may take on as many or as few learners as preferred (ranging from 5 to 45 active learners)
Start Date: August 2025
Location: UK-wide with remote delivery and some site visits
