Job Description
Job Title: Automotive Porter
Location: Berman Nissan of Chicago
Schedule: Part Time
Pay: $16.60/HR

Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner offering assistance with locating vehicles or directing them to the appropriate department
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of vehicles on the lot including washing and vacuuming dealership and customer vehicles
- Moving vehicles to designated areas
- Safely provide vehicle pickup and delivery for customers
- Perform regular checks of vehicle keys and ensure they are stored securely and accounted for at all times
- Routine maintenance tasks to upkeep the appearance and functionality of the dealership building and grounds
- Work closely with sales service and other dealership departments to support overall operations and customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of entrances and common areas by sweeping and trash removal
- Complete other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (3 year min)
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy objects standing for extended periods and bending or kneeling as needed
- Punctuality and reliability in attendance
- Dependable work ethic with a commitment to completing tasks thoroughly and efficiently
- Familiarity with basic building maintenance tasks such as lightbulb changes and lawn care
- Willingness to learn and perform routine maintenance duties as assigned
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and prioritize tasks effectively
