Job Description

Job Summary:

As a brand ambassador you are responsible for ensuring that the Verizon message and brand is effectively and consistently communicated in a positive way to all agents and customers. Your primary duties are to promote Verizons brand and services in an appealing manner. A detailed knowledge of the brand is crucial along with an understanding of the companys objectives for the brand. You will work closely with the Telvista leadership team and be at least partly responsible for hitting monthly quarterly and/or yearly goals. You may also interact regularly with Verizon employees and other Telvista departments to generate wide appeal. Additional duties include proactively developing new marketing ideas; designing and conducting incentive programs; tracking and restocking inventory; relaying agent feedback to the client and the leadership team; and training other frontline agents.

 

Responsibilities:

Brand ambassadors must be highly proactive and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment often with little to no supervision. You must recall large amounts of information quickly and be comfortable dealing with sizable groups of people sometimes in public forums. Having well-honed social skills is essential including strong listening oral and written communication abilities. Also you should have a well groomed appearance be extremely organized and feel comfortable in a position with significant responsibility. These qualities are all necessary to establish the credibility that is the hallmark of the job.

HSI training preferred

6 months of experience as a frontline agent

Qualifications :

Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge skill and/or ability required to qualify for performing the job.

Education and/or Experience: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Six months customer service or sales experience. One-year certificate from technical school or one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate technical information clearly and concisely which makes sense to our customers.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to understand and follow instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to isolate root cause according to prescribed set of guidelines matching solution to identified issues.

Computer Skills: Ability to listen and respond while keying into automated system. Ability to thoroughly learn client-specific software and hardware (Windows or Mac environment). Able to accurately type 25 wpm. General technology knowledge including the ability to describe in general terms: operating systems basic internet navigation hardware components software networking components (video data voice) peripherals and email applications.
