Job Description
West Chester Area School District seeksto increase our substitute custodial resource pool.
The qualification requirements listed below represent minimum levels of educational achievement training skill and/or ability necessary.
- High School diploma or equivalent is necessary
- Possess effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interface diplomatically with teachers administrators parents students support staff and outside contacts.
To successfully perform this position a person must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Perform various tasks in buildings where assigned. Replacement custodial duties for absent custodians:
- Empty trash into larger container
- Dusting top and flat surfaces
- Emptying pencil sharpeners
- Cleaning chalk/dry marker boards
- Dust mop and vacuum floors
- Wet mop floors
- Dump trash from large container into dumpster
- Ability to use all custodial equipment
