We are now seeking an experienced dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of this landmark property. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences driving financial performance developing a high-performing team and ensuring the property upholds the high standards of the Avani brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to all hotel departments.
- Drive guest satisfaction and ensure exceptional service standards are consistently met.
- Maximise revenue and profitability through effective yield and cost management.
- Oversee the preparation and achievement of budgets forecasts and financial targets.
- Develop and mentor a motivated engaged team that delivers operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies health & safety regulations and local legislation.
- Maintain strong relationships with guests owners corporate stakeholders and the wider community.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leader in a hotel or serviced apartments environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue and managing budgets.
- Exceptional leadership communication and people management skills.
- A commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience.
- Knowledge of the Auckland hospitality market is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
