This position will plan direct and lead Mechanical Engineering staff in the maintenance improvement and repair of all mechanical equipment and electrical controls. Ensure a safe and efficient operation for all guests and employees..
- Support the DOE/ADOE Mechanical & Elect in leading the maintenance and repair of all electrical controls pools HVAC kitchen mechanics and refrigeration. HVAC & Refrigeration plumbing kitchens and building automation.
- Monitor the performance of the all Engineering staff.
- Manage the cogeneration energy management and mechanical systems to maximize utility savings.
- Develop and implement training for the Mechanical Engineering staff. Ensure that all staff members can properly operate area related systems.
- Monitor work orders and preventative maintenance to ensure that work is properly complete and reported.
- Perform routine inspections and ensure that preventative maintenance programs are carried out.
- Ensure that the Mechanical Engineering staff is in compliance with OSHA regulations Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and safety precautions.
- Serve as the Manager on Duty (MOD) for the entire Engineering division.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Management a related Engineering field or equivalent additional experience within an Facility Engineering Structure
- A minimum of five years Mechanical Engineering experience required with a minimum of four years supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in Hospitality preferred.
- Universal refrigerant certification as required by the EPA.
- Journeyman certification preferred.
- Valid Drivers License and a satisfactory driving record required.
- Material Handling Equipment certification as required (may vary by property).
