Job Description
- Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories PSS is searching for an associate level scientist with experience in basic mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques. The ideal candidate will support the mammalian protein expression group by performing basic mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques for various protein expression needs.
Employee Responsibilities:
- Maintain mammalian cells and prepare cell culture to conduct transfection/protein expression experiment.
- Provide general molecular biology support (plasmid preparation PCR and cloning)
- Assistance in general lab task and supply management
- Work collaboratively with PBS team on-site to achieve critical research objectives and timelines.
- Detail oriented and precise in routine lab practice
- Appropriate documentation of all experimental results.
Qualifications :
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Bachelors Degree in biological sciences (biology biochemistry molecular biology or similar discipline).
- 1-2 years of relevant academic or industrial experience
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- Experience in cell culture and DNA plasmid preparation.
Additional Information :
Position is full-time Monday to Friday 9:00AM - 5:00PM. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of San Diego CA are encouraged to apply.
Compensation Range: $52000-55000/yr
