Berkeley Preparatory School - a school free of government interference located in beautiful Tampa Florida.
Founded in 1960 Berkeley Preparatory School is an independent co-educational Episcopal affiliated college preparatory school with a current enrollment of 1400 students in grades Pre-K through 12. Part-Time Coaching Opportunities Athletic Department
Berkeley Preparatory School is seeking both head and assistant coaches for various athletic teams in both the Middle Division (sixth through eighth grade) and Upper Division (ninth through twelfth grade). Please note these coaching opportunities are part-time positions and will vary from season to season.
The ideal coaching candidate for any seasonal athletic position must commit to attending every practice and athletic contest of that team for the duration of the season. They must also provide constructive feedback to the athletes; sport-specific instruction; unwavering supervision of the student-athletes; knowledge of the sport rules and guidelines; adherence to all required courses and certifications; excellent sportsmanship; and create a culture for that team that ensures a positive experience for all student-athletes.
The coaching practice schedule is generally Monday through Friday from 3:30pm-6:00pm and contest times will vary. The season length also varies by the level of the team and the division. Specific details about the commitment will be provided by the Athletic Director during the interview process.
