Job Description
Janitor/Office Cleaner 2nd Shift
IDEXX is seeking an enthusiastic Janitor/office cleaner to join our facilities team. Your job will be to provide custom commercial and office cleaning services. If you have a passion for cleanliness teamwork and providing a great service this position is for you!
To ensure that IDEXX Facilities infrastructure processes and services meet the evolving needs of the business we will be a strategic partner and service provider of choice for the business teams. We will strive to achieve operational agility and flexibility high employee engagement cost excellence and safe sustainable operations.
Hours of Work Monday Friday 4pm 12.30am (2nd Shift)
In this Role:
Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting sweeping mopping and vacuuming in designated areas.
Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and sanitized including floors windows and furniture.
Maintain cleanliness in restrooms by replenishing supplies and ensuring sanitary conditions.
Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company policies.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist with special cleaning projects as required.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is welcomed but not essential
Someone who can work on their own and as part of a team
A positive can-do attitude
