This position is based in Raleigh NC and requires working onsite at least two days per week.
How youll make an impact
Design robust high-performance power system solutions
Define technical requirements based on customer specs
Lead main circuit design and related studies
Conduct power system simulations to verify performance
Coordinate system design tasks across global teams
Engage in technical discussions with customers and suppliers
Support testing activities including FAT and SAT
Troubleshoot and resolve complex project challenges
Your background
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 2 years of experience in the power systems sector
Proficiency in tools like PSCAD Matlab and PSS/E
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple projects independently
Passion for power systems semiconductors and substation design
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
