Skills and Qualifications:
5 years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Microservices/ Kotlin
Microservices Developer
Design develop and maintain high-performance scalable and secure backend services using Java/ Kotlin. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features. Ensure the best possible performance quality and responsiveness of the backend services. Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems. Participate in code reviews design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration and deployment. Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for the backend services and APIs. Mentor and guide junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in frameworks such as Java/ Ktor Spring Boot (with Kotlin/ Java) or Micronaut. Extensive experience with RESTful API design and development. Strong understanding of database design and management (SQL and NoSQL). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure) and containerization (Docker Kubernetes). Solid understanding of software development best practices including code reviews testing and version control (Git). Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Skills:
Experience with microservices architecture. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI). Knowledge of frontend technologies and frameworks is a plus.
