- Provide strong people leadership to build a high-performing team through effective coaching empowering and mentoring in a driven environment
- Building strategic and long-term partnerships with relevant customers and key decisions makers in the plastic surgery space
- Achieving both sales and MBO objectives in alignment with sales management and marketing plans
- Responsible for ensuring the PSRM team is performing effective territory management field coverage and key account identification to drive sales in both the Plastic Surgery and Regenerative Medicine arms
- Developing and maintaining supportive productive and effective relationships at all levels within the organization
- Developing key account and GPO relationships and support all PSRM product launches
- Organizing and preparing all Hospital and GPO based pricing agreement and/or Request For Proposal (RFP) documents for review of National Sales Director and subsequent submission
- Ensuring all relevant pricing is up to date in the system based on commercial policy and Hospital/GPO based contracts private and public
- Maintaining consistent communication with National Sales Director on all matters related to customer support team development and sales including accurate forecasting
- Being a proactive talent scout for the company with proven experience attracting developing and retaining talent
- Assisting in the development and execution of sales meetings and sales training
- Maintaining updated Plastic Surgery and Regenerative Medicine knowledge aesthetic industry and competitive products/services
- Maintaining compliance with all applicable quality and regulatory guidelines as an integral part of business operations
- Demonstrating a strong work ethic and represent the company with high integrity ethics honesty loyalty and professionalism on a consistent basis
- Reviewing on an ongoing basis YTD sales analysis against sales targets and rationalize performance gains and/shortfall against YTD budget (sales targets and expenses) and adjust field program execution accordingly
- Updating all necessary team-based documents on an as needed basis (eg. PSRM Business Plan Consignment Approval Form PPF Exception PPT etc)
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITY
- 11 direct reports all Plastic Surgery and Regenerative Medicine Specialists
BUDGET RESPONSIBLITY
- PSRM Team Travel and Expense Budget Monitoring and Maintenance
Qualifications :
EDUCATION
Must Have:
- Bachelors Degree or higher required
Plus:
- Master of Business Administration or other advanced degree an asset
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
Must Have:
- 5 years successful sales management experience in the aesthetic consumable cosmeceutical filler or similar B2B model is necessary.
- 4-6 years of demonstrated success selling medical products or services to physicians and/or other health care providers is preferred. Preference for direct experience with the plastic surgeon and dermatology audience.
Plus:
- Proven ability to attract motivate & engage a group of high-performing sales professionals
CAPABILITIES / SKILLS
Must Have:
- Ability to use word processing and database applications and various software programs such as Excel and PowerPoint.
Plus:
- Knowledge of Canadian GPO landscape and RFP/Contracting process
BEHAVIORS
Must Have:
Ability to make effective and persuasive communications and technical presentations to physicians management and/or large groups. Ability to thoroughly understand and communicate the attributes and qualities of company products using professional selling and closing skills.
Positive attitude and passion for working within the medical device and aesthetic field
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
Must Have:
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with all levels of employees in English
Plus:
- Proficiency in French an asset
OTHER REQUIREMENT
Must Have:
Ability to travel adequately to cover the region including multi-overnight stays attend tradeshows and corporate and training meetings; up to 50%.
