About the Role
Ventia is seeking a detail-oriented and proactiveProject Accountantto join our Finance team supporting Austin Health. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the financial management of a high-impact healthcare contract. Youll be responsible for delivering accurate financial and management reporting driving forecasting and budgeting and supporting operational decision-making.
This is a full-time permanent role based in Heidelberg Melbourne.
What Youll Do
- Deliver monthly P&L reports with insights into performance metrics
- Manage cost allocations balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Lead month-end close processes and support budgeting and forecasting
- Collaborate with clients to ensure accurate billing and financial reporting
- Support payroll processing accounts receivable and cash flow management
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes
- Provide commercial support for new contracts and operational teams
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CA/CPA preferred)
- Experience with SAP Project Systems or similar ERP tools
- Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- A collaborative team player with a focus on continuous improvement
- Valid drivers license and current police check
