Job Description
- Masks hardware with various types of masking to prevent overspray.
- Cleans the part to ensure the part is clean enough to allow masking and coatings to adhere or to allow effective peening of substrates.
- As applicable uses tools to deburr the part prior to masking to allow complete coverage of coating and prevent delamination.
- Inspects the part to verify all characteristics for which he/she is responsible before signing the router and forwarding to subsequent operations.
- Performs other tasks as necessary.
- 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Successfully pass background check and DOT drug screening
- Ability to work 1st shift hours (M-F 7:00a.m. - 3:30 p.m. generally)
- Dependable detail-oriented and a drive to continuously grow and learn
- 1 year of experience in masking in a thermal spray/aerospace environment
