Job Description
Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring a German-speakingEnglishLanguage Teacherto provide in-person customized lessons to our clients in Pittsburgh PA.
Job Information:
Ref #187685: a 6-year-old child face-to-face
- Availability: flexible
- Preferred start date: asap
- Lesson Frequency: Onceper week
- Lesson Duration: 60minutes
- Location: Lessons will take place atthestudents home in Pittsburgh PA (close to Totem Way and Seneca PL).
- Students English level: Beginner
- Students Native language: German
- Students language needs and goals: To communicate effectively in daily interactions and attend school in the USA.
- Additional Information: Client needs a German-speaking teacher that can provide support in German if needed
Responsibilities:
- Delivering tailored dynamic effective and engaging lessons
- Developing curricula based on learners proficiency level and desired outcomes
- Monitoring students progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
- Communicating in an efficient effective and professional manner
Qualifications:
- To have native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the English language
- To have a degree or certificationin language teaching education instructional design writing language linguistics second-language acquisition or a related field
- To have a minimum of two years of English teaching experience
- Must have experience working with children
