Job Title: Lecturer Games Design

Location: Coventry College

Contract Type: Full-Time

Hours per Week: 37 per week

Salary: 31103 to 45709 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience) *This salary is effective from 01/08/25*

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Lecturer to join our team delivering high-quality teaching learning and assessment to support our learners in achieving their full potential. Youll play a key role in designing and delivering engaging inclusive lessons that meet curriculum standards and reflect industry needs.

Are you ready for your next challenge in Further Education Do you have a passion for education with plenty of enthusiasm to develop and inspire the next generation We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to join a growing team teaching on Level 2 and Level 3.

You will hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant Games Design/Games Art discipline a degree in a related field is desirable and a relevant teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards). Experience and knowledge of specific games design packages including Maya Substance Painter and Unreal Engine is essential.

Recent or current vocational experience in Games Design and of teaching games development digital graphics and animation would be advantageous.

You must be able to demonstrate a real enthusiasm for teaching with an ability to motivate and inspire learners to succeed.

Requirements

Must-Have:

Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards within a specified timescale

Minimum of Level 2 qualification or equivalent competency in Communication/Literacy and Maths or willingness to achieve in a specified timescale

Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Games Design/Art related discipline.

Degree in Games Design/Art related discipline
