Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Responsible for various duties assigned by department supervisors campus leaders or other staff members.

  • Part-Time Worker: A part-time worker is an employee who works less than 20 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Student Employment:

1. Recommendation from a District department or campus.

2. At least 14 years old and currently enrolled in middle or high school.

3. Ability to speak read and understand the English language.

4. Ability to demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude maintain confidentiality and abide by the policies of the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District.

Adult Employment:

from a District department or campus. Must have met requirements for hire for the selected position.

School diploma or GED equivalent preferred for all positions.

degree or higher from recognized accredited college or university preferred for tutors and/or professional positions.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

This is a temporary assignment. The length of the temporary assignment will be determined based on project needs.

SALARY/PAYGRADE:

The hourly rate will be determined based on position and thehiring department budget.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Work with frequent interruptions maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer. Exposure to working inside and outside (moderate exposure to sun heat cold and inclement weather) moderate exposure to noise and moderate exposure to extended periods of sitting and/or standing.
