Position Overview:
Were seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Cable Installer / Entry-Level Electrician / Tower Hand. This is a full-time hands-on role ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in telecom electrical systems and tower work. No prior climbing certification is requiredwe will provide training and certification.
Were seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Cable Installer / Entry-Level Electrician / Tower Hand. This is a full-time hands-on role ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in telecom electrical systems and tower work. No prior climbing certification is requiredwe will provide training and certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and route cabling for wireless communications equipment
- Assist with electrical work and system grounding on job sites
- Support dish alignment pathing and mounting on towers and rooftops
- Climb towers and structures safely to perform installation and maintenance work (certification provided)
- Load unload and maintain tools and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and industry standards
- Travel to job sites primarily within the Chicagoland area
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of cell site components and layouts
- Familiarity with dish pathing and cell tower sites
- Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Preferred (but not required):
- Prior experience in telecom electrical work or construction
- OSHA 10/30 certification
- RF awareness or other safety certifications
Compensation:
- Pay: $22$30 per hour based on experience
