Teaching assignments for this position include but are not limited to; Design Drafting Concepts Basic Computer Aided Drafting 3-D Solid Modeling Architectural Design with Revit Principles & Materials of Construction Architectural Planning Building Structures Building Systems Structural Steel Design with SDS /2 Commercial Construction Topographic/Civil Drafting Professional Practice-Architectural Construction for Americans with Disabilities Cooperative Education I & II Drafting. The instructor develops course objectives implements teaching strategies advises students monitors and evaluates student progress keeps accurate student records keeps course information current to industry needs and tracks industry trends. Promote a Culture of Belonging Support and promote an environment of belonging where all students faculty members and college employees feel welcomed valued and empowered to contribute. Foster a community where each individual and their varied perspectives enrich the educational experience and create a safe and respectful environment. Minimum Qualifications
Associates degree in Computer Aided Design Drafting with emphasis in architectural design drafting.* Two (2) years recent industry experience as an architectural design drafter.* *A 4-year Skilled and Technical Sciences degree may substitute for the degree/experience requirement.
