Statement of Duties
- Support and ensure the accuracy of all data systems and information held within them including but not limited to Aspen DESE Security Portal Vector Solutions and others.
- Provide support for school and district staff with use of systems assigned to department.
- Lead and assist district staff with scheduling transcripts grading report card processes and other needs including training of school staff where necessary.
- Assists with all SIS beginning-of-year/end-of-year processes.
- Prepare and submit reports including but not limited to SIMS SCS EPIMS SSDR School Attending CRDC Mass Direct Certification and others as assigned by designated due dates.
- Keep up to date with current state data regulations as it relates to reports that the position is responsible for including changes to codes schedules etc.
- Support Registration department with the use of the registration platform as it relates to account creation parent portals and data submitted within that portal.
- Assist Administrator in system integrations and rostering within other programs.
- Assist in badge management for school district staff including updating creating and replacing as necessary.
- Responsible for the creation of resources for all new staff as it relates to the Data Department such as accounts.
- Assist in the creation and/or distribution of user guides/videos as applicable for systems.
- All other assigned tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Superintendent.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Prior work within school district relating to data management and analysis.
- Aspen or similar Student Information System administration experience.
- Understanding and commitment to confidentiality security and privacy as it relates to data.
- Experience with MS Office and Google Workspace.
- Basic XML or JavaScript knowledge preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish and/or Portuguese) a plus.
- Ability to work both independently on projects and collaboratively across multiple departments and teams.
