We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent customer service and communication skills to join our Council as an Environmental Health Technical Support Officer (EHTSO).
You will be one of our EHTSOs that carry out a range of administrative support duties based within the Environmental Protection Environmental Protection service consists of Officers that respond to environmental concerns and complaints in the East Suffolk Area this can include Noise disturbance Air quality Contaminated land Environmental permitting Fireworks and bonfires Private Water supplies Public Health burials Scrap metal sewers and drains and Environmental crime which includes fly tipping abandoned cars Dog control Animal licensing for more information about Environmental protection please visit duties will include receiving and processing incoming work arriving by email telephone and face to face interactions with both internal and external customers. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining computer records using Uniform and other IT systems. This is an exciting opportunity to support our Environmental Protection and Enforcement Officers in delivering effective services across the area.
