Digital provides services to internal AEMO business units employees contractors subsidiaries such as AEMO Services external government bodies and market participants.
About the role
Sr Tester would be involved in the planning execution and delivery of testing across multiple projects. This role requires technical Automation and Performance testing skills to perform the role of a trusted quality assurance analyst and a subject matter expert on testing requirements test planning test execution and results management.
What you will be doing
- Perform System testing System Integration Testing Support User Acceptance Testing
- Analyse requirements and system changes design and execute tests that aim to minimise risks and achieve the highest levels of quality assurance and reliability.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or Playwright.
- Create Test Scripts and run using Load Runner
- Identify document and triage defects using tools such as JIRA or PractiTest.
- Partner with product owners project manager developers and business analysts to validate deliverables.
- Generate and present detailed test/Status reports to stakeholders.
What you will bring to the role
Education/ Certificates
- Degree in Information Systems Technology or relevant discipline.
- Certification in relevant technologies (eg. ISTQB advanced Agile Testing)
Experience and Knowledge
- Experienced demonstrated and have knowledge supporting 24x7 Technology Systems
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in testing.
- Experienced demonstrated and have knowledge of incident problem solving and ability to maintain technical documentation.
- Demonstrated understanding of the software development process including requirement gathering analysis/design development tools/technologies release/version control contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management.
- Experienced demonstrated and have knowledge using CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
