We are searching for a talented Public Safety Supervisor
Hours: 40hrs
Shift: Day shift 6:45am - 3:15pm with weekend and holiday rotation
Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River MA

Responsibilities
Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of experience in Security (preferably healthcare) Law Enforcement or Military required with two years in a supervisory position required.
- Software including WordPerfect Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of facilities management and security alarm systems.
- Must possess upon employment or be eligible to obtain and maintain the ability to lawfully possess a firearm for the purposes of law enforcement employment.
- Basic Advanced and Supervisor certifications through the International Association of Healthcare Safety and Security (IAHSS) preferred.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Massachusetts Drivers License.
- The ability to be licensed as a Special State Police Officer under the Commonwealth of MA General Laws Chapter 22 C section 63 strongly preferred.
- If licensed must consistently meet all training and other requirements for continued licensure.
- Ability to obtain IAHSS Basic Officer Advanced Officer and Supervisor Training Certification within one year of eligibility.
- Must obtain and maintain required certifications in the following programs (training provided by department): CPR/AED/First Aid Narcan (Naloxone) Training Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) De-Escalation Training; OC Pepper (OCAT) Handcuffing (PATH) Baton (PPBT) education and training.
- International Association of Healthcare Safety and Security (IAHSS) Supervisor Certification within 1 year of hire or promotion.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
