JOB SUMMARY

  • E-Communications Specialists handle various multimedia contacts such as customer service emails faxes voicemails internal/external phone calls web chats and provides communication support to multiple channels for contact center agents management staff and customers.

HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY

  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal departments and external customers.
  • Analyze and accurately process various types of multimedia communication-related requests responding to customer needs to provide appropriate resolutions within established service levels.
  • Create edit post and maintain information in the internal knowledgebase for employee access.
  • Answer telephone calls emails and participate in internet web chats to assist guests with reservation and billing inquiries including but not limited to:
  • Reservation bookings
  • Internet error messages
  • General questions
  • Copies of folios
  • Research and resolution of credit card and charge disputes
  • Credit card refunds
  • Application and reversal of Total Reward credits for payment
    • Payment changes
    • Credit card authorization releases
  • Build contacts and relationships within HET with subject matter experts to maintain an open and accurate flow of information.
  • Be knowledgeable of HET services and products and communicate complex ideas simply and clearly via written and visual channels.
  • Complete duties as assigned act as a role model and encourage others to do the same.
  • Meet measured efficiency goals and standards.
  • Handle all incoming customer transactions promptly efficiently accurately and professionally.
  • Safeguard customer confidentiality and privacy according to company and department standards.
  • Meet department guidelines for punctuality adherence attendance and appearance.
  • Assist with special projects and additional duties as directed by a supervisor.
  • Adhere to all company policies regulatory and state/federal laws.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Must be 21 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year in customer service preferably in a hotel or resort or in a customer service-oriented job.
  • Reservations or Front Desk experience are preferred but not required.
  • Some knowledge of HTML and basic graphic design principles is preferred.
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Office programs (Excel PowerPoint Word and SharePoint).

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent leadership organizational listening interpersonal analytical written and verbal communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of Casino Reservations processes and guidelines Total Rewards program and proficiency in CMS LMS and WINet systems. Ability to balance cashier reports.
  • Good mathematical skills and a basic understanding of accounting terminology.
  • Upbeat and positive disposition.
  • Strong knowledge of customer care processes and techniques.
  • Highly motivated proactive individual and independent thinker.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of computer and telecommunications functions and systems customer service and telemarketing.
  • Excellent developmental and motivational skills.
