Job Description
- Replenish items in rooms for guest use including but not limited to towels linens and amenities.Accommodate and anticipate guests needs respond promptly and professionally.
- Thoroughly clean the guest room and bathroom area as assigned (i.e. vacuuming dusting changing bed linen emptying trash cans).
- Report any maintenance needs or items left behind from the guest to the appropriate department.
- Become familiar and knowledgeable with the hotels safety and emergency procedures.
- Meet hotel and company standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to lift push pull more than 20 lbs. often housekeeper carts can weigh more than 30 lbs. or more to push pull.
- Ability to stand for long period of time and perform repetitive motions.
- Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
- Detail-orientated individual who is able to focus his/her cleaning responsibilities ensuring that each room set up is completed as required by the property.
- Ability to maintain a composed gracious and professional attitude.
- Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
This position is subject to successful completion of a background check as it relates to the responsibilities of the role.
