Job Description

Job Title: Manager Cyber Intelligence

Job Description:

Responsible for the development deployment and execution of controls and defenses to ensure the security of company technology information systems and system deliverables. Develops and implements appropriate standards and criteria for hardware software access and encryption requirements. Establishes system security designs and validates compliance requirements. Assesses and mitigates system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle. Performs system certification and accreditation planning testing and validation activities in coordination with government customers. Supports secure systems operations and maintenance. Conducts internal information technology system audits and risk assessments and reports findings and recommendations for corrective actions to management. Executes first level responses and addresses reported or detected incidents. Investigates and analyzes all response activities related to cyber incidents. Interprets analyzes and reports all events and anomalies in accordance with directives to include initiating responding and reporting discovered events. Safeguards information against unauthorized use infiltration exfiltration modification destruction or disclosure of national security information.

The ISSM leads and directs experienced professionals lower-level supervisors or associate managers. Communicates within and outside of organization to explain and influence changes to policies practices or approaches. Makes significant improvements in processes systems or products. Establishes short-term operational plans with measurable contribution to function or business area results. Requires management and leadership knowledge in job area and comprehensive knowledge within professional discipline.

The Manager Cyber Intelligence will accept the appointment of facility cage code ISSM position to ensure compliance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and is responsible for managing and maintaining system security packages within the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) government database. The ISSM is expected to possess advanced knowledge of information technology (IT) and information systems security best practices and apply this expertise to maintain the confidentiality integrity and availability of classified and sensitive systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
  • Top Secret US Security Clearance

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • ISSO/M experience with eMASS
  • ISSO/M experience under the DAAPM
  • Experience with audit reduction tools like Splunk
  • Experience with Linux or Unix operating systems
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements schedules and priorities
  • Experience working in a military/DOD environment
  • Able to socialize ideas make recommendations and gain team consensus
  • CISSP Certification
  • Active Secret security clearance required (Top Secret is preferred)
  • Minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience to include 5 years experience with RMF system authorization packages; 5 years experience interpretingvulnerability scanning results (preferably Nessus or Tenable SecurityCenter); 5 years experience reviewing workstation server firewall & IPS logs; 3 years experience with SIEM tools
  • Experience as an ISSO/M supervising or managing cybersecurity on classified systems under DAAPM NISPOM ICD 503 and/or NIST 800-53
  • Experience developing managing and providing evidence to close POA&Ms associated with theA&A and project management processes
  • Experience with DISA STIGs and SCAP Compliance Checker
  • Experience interpreting vulnerability scanning and security log results (Nessus ACAS Splunk)
  • Exceptional verbal written interpersonal and presentation skills customer relationship building skills analytical skills and ability to lead/mentor teammates
  • High level of personal motivation and initiative to learn and acquire new skills
