You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe School District of Clayton is seeking an Alternative Instructional Support Assistant for Clayton High School. Successful candidates will be academically talented use a variety of teaching strategies and exhibit sensitivity for all students.
An Alternative Instructional Support Assistant continues the educational program established by the classroom teacher providing a safe and appropriate environment for the continuity of the educational experience for students who are serving detention or in-school suspension.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Alternative Instructional Support Assistant supports students with behavior and elevated emotions.
REPORTS TO: Principal
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Required qualifications to effectively perform job. An equivalent combination of education training and experience will be considered.

Education: A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required.
Certification: Missouri Teaching Certificate preferred. Missouri Substitute Certificate required.
Experience: Preferred.
Compensation:$20.09 - $28.12

FLSA Status:Non-Exempt
Work Calendar: 188 day calendar.
