Job Description
Job Duties:
- Wear required safety gear at all times.
- Handle and process glass in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform all equipment checks and PMs prior to shift start.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment through 5S.
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner with co-workers.
- Hold yourself accountable for your actions.
- Ability to comprehend coater schedule.
- Any reasonable duty as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- Computer literate and good organizational skills.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Must be proactive and able to think quickly on his/her feet.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Ability to operate motorized equipment.
- Position requires regular in-person attendance at the plant.
- Ability to work with and as part of a team including but not limited to the Plant Manager managers employees throughout Cardinal and vendor partnerships
- Ability to exercise good judgement in decision making ideas and all aspects relating to the PLANT team Cardinal and other company relationships
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times
Physical Requirements
- Job includes some overtime evening and weekend hours.
Ability to lift 15 lbs or more.
