Job Description

Primary Responsibilities: - Convert the output of the MRP process to supplier schedules ensuring EVERY production supplier receives an updated release EVERY week
- Act as the primary plant contact for the supply base - Ensure the supplier shipment is aligned with our received and that all shipments have been accounted for in the ERP system
- Supervise any supplier material / fabrication obsolescence claims
- Manage any supplier shortage situations
- Ensure the planning parameter used in the ERP system accurately reflect reality for the supply base - Maintain the supplier On Time Delivery metric (OTD) using the SRS system
- Establish safety stock for supplied components within the ERP system based on the suppliers historical ability to ship on time - Manage the supply base to ensure the proper use of logistic routing instructions timely border crossing when applicable and a level loaded receiving schedule exists
- Monitor inbound supplier EDI to ensure the supply base is shipping as scheduled - Work with the Corporate Purchasing and IT teams to ensure all suppliers are EDI capable - Assist in the Management of the ECN process - Support the engineering change process as required by the Supply Chain Manager - Participate with the assisting of the SCM team to achieve targets goals and objectives on night shift - Ensure that new parts are set up properly in QAD and the P.O. Integration process - Other duties as assigned
