Job Description

Our client is a global leader in fueling and convenience retail solutions offering advanced fuel-dispensing equipment clean energy technologies payment systems automatic tank gauging and wet stock management. Headquartered in Austin Texas the organization operates technology development and manufacturing facilities across the globe including locations in Brazil China India Italy Poland the Netherlands the United Kingdom and the United States.


We are seeking a Product Owner with proven hands-on experience in managing enterprise software or SaaS solutions.

The Product Owner will help define and execute the vision for a cloud-based fueling solution working closely with a cross-functional team to establish a delivery strategy. Key responsibilities include creating the solution roadmap solution and iteration backlogs and leading the development team on a daily basis.

The Product Owner will maximize business value by executing the roadmap using agile principles collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and prioritizing work for the development team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the solution roadmap and drive the development strategy
  • Lead the planning and prioritization of the program increment backlogs
  • Define the product vision MVPs and their incremental releases
  • Define epics and break them down into user stories and work with the dev team on their effort estimates
  • Collaborate with solution stakeholders including customers Product and Solution Management Marketing and the Development team to collect their feedback and incorporate it into solution planning.
  • Lead the solution discovery and validation with Product Design and Engineering to solve customer pains and create business value.
  • Own the solutions success through ensuring requirement clarity delivery excellence and appropriate risk and dependency management.
  • Contribute to go-to-market and customer migration plans working with Product Management and Marketing.
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert on the owned Solution.
  • Track the progress of solution delivery and its quality in a data-driven way.
  • Follow our SCRUM methodology of development.


Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in management or engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in technical program management.
  • Solid understanding of product design and software development life cycle.
  • Experience in Agile methods scaled agile is a plus.
  • Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
  • Strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in organizations with a strong DevOps culture.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Applied skills in product management tools like Jira.
  • Basic technical knowledge of Azure Cloud and IoT technologies would be a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery is considered a plus.
  • An understanding of the foundations of good User Experience is advantageous.
  • Experience with Scaled Agile frameworks will be appreciated.
