Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
To design deploy manage and support scalable secure and cost-effective cloud solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The role involves automation infrastructure management and supporting mission-critical workloads while also contributing to multi-cloud strategies involving AWS or Azure as needed.
CERTIFICATIONS:
Good to Have: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Certified Architect Associate or Professional
Nice to Have: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
EXPERIENCE:
4 to 7 years of relevant experience in Cloud Engineering with strong hands-on expertise in OCI. Exposure to AWS or Azure is a strong plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDES ALL TASKS):
Design and implement infrastructure solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
vDeploy and manage OCI core services such as Compute Networking Load Balancers Object Storage and Databases
vAutomate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform Ansible or OCI Resource Manager If required
vConfigure VCN subnets routing NAT DRG and secure communication channels
vImplement and maintain backup disaster recovery and high availability strategies
vMonitor system performance and resource utilization using OCI Monitoring and Logging.
vCollaborate with application and security teams to support deployment and maintenance
vContribute to cloud migration projects including lift-and-shift or re-architecture
vEnsure security best practices including data encryption (in transit and at rest) IAM configuration and key management
vPrepare and maintain technical documentation SOPs and cloud architecture diagrams
vProvide L2/L3 support for cloud-related incidents and requests
vSupport hybrid or multi-cloud environments when required (AWS/Azure)
vParticipate in cost optimization and governance practices
vReady to work 247 rotational Shift.
TECHNICAL SKILLS /COMPETENCIES:
MANDATORY
Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform Ansible etc.)
Scripting skills: Shell / Bash / Python / PowerShell
Strong knowledge of cloud networking (VCN routing security lists firewalls)
OCI IAM roles policies and access control
Logging monitoring and alerting on OCI
Backup and DR design on OCI
Linux system administration and troubleshooting
OPTIONAL
vExposure to AWS or Azure platform
vOracle Database Cloud Services management
vKubernetes / Docker / OCI Container Engine (OKE)
vCI/CD pipeline integration using tools like Jenkins GitLab or GitHub Actions
vHybrid or multi-cloud experience
vOracle EBS or Fusion Apps on OCI
vCloud cost analysis and optimization tools
